Of course for Halloween we had to look at some Tales of Horror. This book was great for all ages. Most kids love a pop-up book and there is informational text that is more meaningful for the older ones. Students viewed awesome scary images of some classics and listened to spooky and creepy descriptive key passages from original texts. They also heard a little historical information about the writing and the author. For example, there are some really great pop-up movable graphics of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, Brom Stoker's Dracula, Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and Gaston Leroux's The Phantom of the Opera. -
