Sara  and her mother ride the bus every day. They also ride the bus with parents going to work and children going to school, but African Americans aren't allowed to sit in the front.
One morning, Sara decides to see what she's missing by sitting at the back of the bus. She moves up to the front and sets off a commotion through out the city. Sara  discovers her courage of her own convictions. This story is a reminder for young readers that people of all ages can fight for justice.~ Mary Jo
